The Tiffinly team - as wholesome as our meals!
“Energy is neither created nor destroyed…it is only transformed from one form to another”
– First law of thermodynamics.
Our team at Tiffinly take physics as seriously as food, and we know that it takes good quality energy to make healthy, wholesome and delicious meals. While we all know that fresh, high-quality ingredients are key to good food, there are other forms of energy at work during the preparation of meals – especially the people who handle and prepare the food. A happy and healthy cook makes better food because of the energy they pour into their work, and a positive and committed team creates healthier meal plans and offers for the same reason. Our tight-knit and dynamic team at Tiffinly embody these qualities, and we wanted to introduce you to a few of them so you know the people behind your favourite dishes and the high-quality energy they bring:
Kapil Sheth
- Founder & Director
- 45 years young
- Born in India
- Living in Australia since 1999
Kapil used to sell vending machines and always felt guilty about being part of the junk food industry because he experienced his own set of health issues. What began as muscle pain, inflammation, bloating and digestion issues, and lethargy, resulted in a diagnosis of hypothyroidism in 2019. Kapil was told he would have to be on thyroid medication for the rest of his life. But he was determined not to accept that eventuality, and believed firmly that his body could heal naturally if given the right material and environment.
Fast forward to 2022, Kapil successfully came off the thyroid medication. He naturally healed through diet and lifestyle changes based on the holistic science of Ayurveda.
During this time, he founded Tiffinly with his childhood friend Hemil with one powerful intention: to provide excellent quality home-style meals that feed the mind, body and soul.
Kapil has been a Vipassana meditation practitioner since 2017. He believes that health is wealth and that the holistic, ancient and natural system of Ayurvedic medicine is key to solving many health problems of modern life.
Kapil’s fav quote: Discipline = Freedom – Jocko Willink

Dr Dhanya Nambiar

Dr Dhanya Nambiar studied Ayurvedic nutrition and holistic wellbeing at the highly respected Hale Pule School of Ayurveda and Yoga, and is mentored by her family of Ayurvedic practitioners. She completed her doctorate in Public Health at Monash University in mental health and addiction and holds an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering.
In 2018, Dhanya experienced her own health transformation through the power of Ayurveda and Yoga, and discovered that as she healed her digestive issues and inflammation holistically, she also found more energy, clarity and peace of mind. This was the pivotal moment when she began her journey to study and work as an Ayurvedic health coach, running her own practice – Prana Ayurveda, where she combines the wisdom of ancient medicine with modern science.

Rupalatha Adikaram
