Are you in good health?

Nearly half of Australians have at least one chronic disease, such as diabetes, arthritis, high cholesterol, heart disease, depression, kidney disease, etc.- and many are preventable. Most people wait until something goes wrong before thinking about their health and often express surprise when they finally go to the doctor and are diagnosed with a chronic health condition. Chronic diseases often worsen over time, and preventing them should be your top priority.

Chronic diseases are preventable, and a major cause is poor diet and lifestyle.

Ayurveda is an ancient and well-established form of natural, holistic medicine that provides a strong, practical foundation in preventive medicine that is easily integrated into our modern life. For example, you don’t need blood pressure cuffs, blood sugar monitors, blood tests and resting heart and respiration rates to understand your state of health. Ayurveda offers a simple self-assessment tool for an overall picture of your health and well-being:

How did you score?

These indicators are the final outcome of a healthy and balanced internal system, and provide a basis as to how the mind, body and spirit are connected. You can check in with yourself using these indicators each day to understand how you are responding to your life and where the potential gaps in your health may be. Many chronic health issues began with a drop in this score which was ignored until the situation became more severe.

Prevention is better than cure.

You can prevent a range of physical and mental health issues by prioritising some fundamentals area of your life, and Ayurveda provides the four pillars to focus on to maintain a healthy, happy you:

Here at Tiffinly, we are committed to helping you tick off the first pillar by providing you with fresh, quality and balanced meals. Why is a good diet so important? Both Ayurveda and modern medicine now recognise that gut health, which is your digestive capacity, has major implications for a range of health issues – including everything from diabetes to depression. Symptoms such as low appetite, acid reflux, bloating, food sensitivities, irritable bowels and weight gain are the first signs of weak digestion, and they are often caused by low-quality, highly processed foods such as refined flours and oils, excess salt and sugar, as well as additives and preservatives. We are committed to NO NASTIES in our bid to help your gut health flourish with fresh, healthy and balanced meals every single day.

In addition, we want to help you heal your digestive issues and optimise your metabolism by bringing the wisdom of Ayurveda to our community. We are excited to collaborate with Dr Dhanya Nambiar, an Ayurvedic diet and lifestyle expert who will help us tweak our menu, share tips on gut health and holistic wellbeing, and create exclusive wellness programs for our customers. In 2018, Dhanya experienced her own health transformation through the power of Ayurveda and Yoga, and went on to study and work as an Ayurvedic health coach, running her own practice – Prana Ayurveda.

Dhanya is passionate about natural, holistic healthcare for everyone, and combines the four pillars of Ayurvedic health to help her clients heal from gut issues, inflammation, sleep issues and hormone imbalance. She was the perfect match for us at Tiffinly to meet our mandate of delivering high quality, healthy meals plus practical and relevant information on health and wellbeing in an easy and digestible way.

We want to become a leader in the health food space and your go-to service for high-quality, stress-free meals.

We thank you for your support and look forward to being part of your wellness journey.
